CSCA

In 1985 a small group of Coordinators from the community owned/based sector met to discuss a number of issues and concerns affecting their role in children's services. It was felt that Co-ordinators needed the opportunity to meet regularly to share their ideas, concerns and to support one another. This lead to the development of the Children’s Services Coordinators Association (CSCA), which has been most successful in acting as both a formal and informal network for Coordinators.

The CSCA continues to facilitate opportunities for coordinators working in community-owned children's services to improve their skills and knowledge for their professional learning and development.

Members of the association have the opportunity to attend four seminars each year. The annual general meeting is held during the November seminar where an election to decide the executive committee is held. The executive committee meets throughout the year to discuss and plan the quarterly seminars.

Membership is open to coordinators and 2ICs of community-owned children's services. The annual membership is payable before the first seminar of the year which is held in March.

For further information on the association and membership, contact CSCA at csavictoria@gmail.com

*Please note that the CSCA and CCC are independent associations. Although CCC provides the CSCA with some administration support, membership with the CSCA is separate and independent of CCC's membership.
